The company
GBB is the UK's first strictly on line gold buying service, where you can turn your precious metal and stone set goods into cash without having to travel further than your nearest post box. GBB trade from a workshop facility in the middle of London’s Jewellery district, Hatton Garden.
We are a small business of just two directors and administration staff in support. We do not have expensive flashy offices, nor do we run any costly company cars.We do not spend vast amounts of money on TV ads, instead we believe in small localised newspaper ads to get the benefits of our service over to our customers.
The workshop space that GBB use is shared with Jewelworks Repairs Ltd. This means that as an on line provider of cash for gold facilities we have very little overheads. We do not make a huge margin like most, more greedy competitors. Instead, with little overheads we are happy to make a small but fair margin for our service. We hope that our customers will benefit from our more generous offers and as well as coming back to us for further business, we try and attract future business by referral.
The people
Nick Gray is the founder member of Jewelworks, a Hatton Garden based repair and manufacturing workshop, which he has owned and run for some years. The extensive workshop facilities that we share mean that once an offer has been accepted, GBB can quickly and efficiently process various types of metal without having to send off site.

James Kirkland has been involved in helping to run his family's expanding pawn broking and retail business. His experience in this field means that he is able to quickly assess the true worth of various items of jewellery. He is then able to make an accurate and fair offer which many customers have been able to take advantage of.
